Our onboard naturalist helps you explore breathtaking Southwater Cay, a private, 12-acre island listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its remarkable biological diversity and beauty. Stroll down the white sand beaches and admire the postcard-perfect seascape, before watching the Caribbean sun create a spectacular display of vibrant color as it sets above the gentle waves.

Glover’s Reef

Slip on your swimsuits and jump into the turquoise waters of Glovers Reef lagoon as we bow land amidst a living coral reef and diverse species of fish. This magnificent island is actually a partially submerged atoll, giving it one of the richest and most diverse marine environments in the Caribbean Sea. After a day of swimming and snorkeling,relax and enjoy the soft Caribbean breeze onboard the ship.

Placencia

A dramatic bow landing in Placencia invites you to step directly from the ship to the shores of this charming Caribbean village, where the gentle pace of island lifestyle surrounds you. This afternoon just relax or partake in an optional guided skiff tour on Monkey River through the Belizean jungle. Admire diverse tropical flora and watch for exotic wildlife, including monkeys and iguanas, along the river’s fertile shores. Enjoy a stop at Monkey River Village, where your guide will take you on a hike through the jungle – be sure to watch and listen for the famous Howler Monkeys! Tonight put on your dancing shoes for a fun evening of Garifuna music and dance lessons.

Lime Cay, part of the Sapodillas Cays Marine Reserve, invites you to swim, snorkel or kayak in its spectacularly clear, green waters or lounge on its pristine beaches for a day of perfect relaxation.
Livingston, Guatemala

Day 6

Livingston, Guatemala

Visit Belize’s southernmost city of Punta Gorda, a seaport and fishing town that is home to a unique mix of Garifuna, Creole and Mayan cultures. Cross into Guatemala and stop in Livingston, a colorful Garifuna beach town reachable only by boat! Explore the village market, and browse an array of family-owned shops.
Rio Dulce, Guatemala

Day 7

Rio Dulce, Guatemala

In Guatemala, cruise the gorgeous Rio Dulce, brimming with lush, dramatic gorges. Tour Castillo de San Felipe, a 400-year-old Spanish fort built to protect Lake Izabal from pirates! Docked at the Nana Juana Eco-hotel and Marina, you will relish the spectacular setting, pool and hot tub, then venture to the heart of unspoiled tropical forests on an optional jungle trail and canopy tour.
Quirigua

Day 8

Quirigua

This morning, an optional excursion transports you to another time as you tour the Quirigua Mayan Ruins, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Behold outstanding 8th century monuments and a series of carved stelae, considered by archaeologists to be the finest example of Mayan carving anywhere. This afternoon, all guests are invited to visit the Casa Guatemala orphanage and spend time with these inspiring and hopeful children. Then cruise again along the Rio Dulce, covered with teak, mahogany and palm trees. Search for howler monkeys, toucans and picturesque waterfalls as you cruise among the verdant hillsides.
Punta Gorda

Day 9

Punta Gorda

Return to Punta Gorda for a day of tropical relaxation. Take an optional excursion and indulge in the decadence of traditional Mayan chocolate as you visit a local cacao farm, share lunch with the farmer’s family, and learn how cacao farming supports the local community. The tour continues at a local chocolate factory, where the beans are made into a delectable treat that you can sample and savor. This afternoon, lounge in sunny splendor on the top deck or stroll along the waterfront.
West Snake Cay

West Snake Cay

At gorgeous West Snake Cay, a bow landing brings you to the unspoiled inner lagoon of the Belize Coastal Zone, where you can swim, snorkel or kayak in the sparkling waters. Anchor this evening in serene Water Cay, where you may choose to admire the stunning seascape views under the Caribbean stars on the ship’s main deck.
Goff Cay

Day 11

Goff Cay

The tiny island of Goff Cay sits on the edge of the Barrier Reef. Here, warm waters support thriving populations of lobster and conch. Tonight in Belize City, enjoy the tones of a local steel drum band and celebrate your many wonderful memories of Belize with your fellow travelers and new friends during a festive farewell celebration.
